Regular Season Round 4: AIK Basket - LF Future 84-66

No shocking result in a game when top-ranked AIK Basket (3-0) beat 6th ranked LF Future (2-4) in Solna 84-66. The game was mostly controlled by AIK Basket. LF Future was better in fourth quarter 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AIK Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 20. They outrebounded LF Future 41-25 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. AIK Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. Turkish guard Erkan Inan (195-89) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Serbian forward Nemanja Jovanovic (198-91) chipped in 22 points (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). AIK Basket's coach Asa Nellfors allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Brian Curry (185-86) produced 21 points and naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali-Hussein (200-92) added 13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Four LF Future players scored in double figures. AIK Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 3-0 record behind leader Djurgarden. LF Future at the other side dropped to the seventh place with four games lost. AIK Basket's next round opponent will be Alvik Basket (#9) in Stockholm where they are favorite. LF Future will play at home against Wetterbygden and hope to win that game.
