Regular Season Round 4: Caceres - Huesca 57-71

Magia Huesca has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Caceres Basket (1-3) on the road game in Caceres 71-57. The game was mostly controlled by Magia Huesca. Caceres Basket was better in fourth quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Magia Huesca forced 20 Caceres Basket turnovers. The winners were led by center Alberto Fontet (213-86) who scored that evening 20 points and 9 rebounds and Dutch forward Kevin van-Wijk (203-89, college: Valparaiso) supported him with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Even 13 points by guard Luis Parejo (194-89) did not help to save the game for Caceres Basket. Point guard Guillermo Corrales (180-95) added 9 points and 5 assists for lost side. Caceres Basket's coach tested eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magia Huesca left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Caceres Basket. Magia Huesca will play against league's leader Melilla Baloncesto at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Caceres Basket will play against the league's second-placed Leche Rio Breogan (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
