Regular Season Round 5: Limoges - Strasbourg U21 70-68

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Strasbourg (4-1) on the court of twelfth ranked Limoges on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Limoges 70-68. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Strasbourg. They outrebounded Strasbourg 38-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Benjamin Delage (183-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized Burundian center Timothee Bazille (202-99) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Five Limoges players scored in double figures. Center Quentin Goulmy (206-98) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and power forward Marc Kwedi (200-97) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Strasbourg. Limoges (2-3) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Le Portel and Levallois. Strasbourg at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Limoges is looking forward to face higher ranked CCRB Pro (#6) in Reims in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Strasbourg will play at home against Hyeres-Toulon and is hoping to win this game.
