Hapoel Jerusalem defeated Maccabi Rishon at home 90-85. Maccabi Rishon was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 28-13 third quarter run of Hapoel Jerusalem. International power forward Richard Howell (203-90, college: N.Carolina St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Austin Daye (211-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Alti Sport) contributed with 19 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Hapoel Jerusalem players scored in double figures. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Fotis Katsikaris allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American Jason Siggers (194-85, college: Albany) replied with 17 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import Mark Tollefsen (206-92, college: Arizona) added 19 points in the effort for Maccabi Rishon.
