No shocking result in a game when third ranked AB Ancud (4-2) beat at home 5th ranked CD Castro (2-4) 83-74. AB Ancud made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Arkeem Joseph (206-94, college: Texas A&M Int.) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Pedro Sandoval (175-89) chipped in 24 points. AB Ancud's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Trevante Drye (199-93, college: Tulane) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import Roy Booker (191-84, college: SE Missouri St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AB Ancud keeps a position of league leader, which they share with CDE Talca.
