Regular Season Round 3: TBV Start - Legia 95-85

No shocking result in a game in Lublin where Start (2-1) defeated Legia (0-3) 95-85 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Start. Legia was better in third quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) who scored 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Mateusz Jarmakowicz (208-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Tomasz Andrzejewski (204-79) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Start will face Asseco (#5) in Gdynia in the next round. Legia will play on the road against Czarni (#13) in Slupsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.
