The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Spojnia as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Spojnia defeated 7th ranked Enea Astoria in Stargard 89-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Enea Astoria. Spojnia shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Forward Hubert Pabian (201-89, agency: Promotex) nailed 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Alan Czujkowski (199-90, agency: Promotex) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds. Mikolaj Grod (194-89) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and center Lukasz Frackiewicz (205-96) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Enea Astoria in the defeat. Enea Astoria's coach Konrad Kazmierczyk tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Spojnia (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Enea Astoria at the other side dropped to the eighth place with two games lost. Enea Astoria will play next round against Notec Inowr. trying to get back on the winning streak. Spojnia will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Polfarmex at Kutno.
