We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Kolobrzeg where 12th ranked Kotwica (2-4) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Pruszkow (2-3) 80-67 on Wednesday. Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) stepped up and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Pruszkow's coach Marek Zapalowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Pawel Dzierzak (188-95) responded with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Four Kotwica players scored in double figures. Pruszkow moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Kotwica lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Pruszkow will face higher ranked Biofarm PZN (#6) in Poznan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kotwica will play on the road against R8 Krakow (#7) and hope to win that game.
