Very predictable result in Joniskis where fifth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (4-2) smashed 10th ranked Delikatesas (2-4) 82-59. It was a good game for forward Arunas Mikalauskas (202-97, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Neptunas-Akv. players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Giedrius Stankevicius (205-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Arminas Kelmelis (195-94) added 16 points in the effort for Delikatesas. Neptunas-Akv. maintains fifth position with 4-2 record. Delikatesas lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with four games lost. Neptunas-Akv.'s next round opponent will be league's second-placed Telsiai in Telsiu and it may be quite challenging game. Delikatesas will play on the road against Jonava (#6) and hope to win that game.
