The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Leche Rio Breogan as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Leche Rio Breogan smashed 16th ranked Caceres Basket in Lugo 101-73. The game without a history. Leche Rio Breogan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Caceres Basket's 28. They outrebounded Caceres Basket 35-17 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds.
