Regular Season Round 5: Haga BG - Orebro 52-56

Orebro can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Norrkoping, where they defeated Haga BG (1-3) 56-52 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 14-7. But Haga BG won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Orebro dominated on the defensive end, holding Haga BG to just 7 points in first quarter. They also forced 27 Haga BG turnovers. The best player for the winners was Robert Schultz (-89) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds. Tonny Dabaueh (-97) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Vincent Taylor (183-98) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Noah Irons (193-99) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Haga BG's coach David Bergstrom tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Orebro left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Haga BG. Orebro will have a break next round.
