Bottom-ranked Martorell (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to eleventh ranked L'Hospitalet (2-2) 81-78 on Sunday evening. Martorell was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Devin Schmidt (193, college: Delta St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and guard Edgar San-Epifanio (196-87) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side power forward Alejandro Mazaira (202-97) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and forward Albert Homs (201-94) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Martorell's coach Adria Alonso let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. L'Hospitalet moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Martorell still closes the standings with four games lost. L'Hospitalet will face Zamorano (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Martorell will play against La Roda and hopes to get finally their first victory.
