The game had a very big importance for sixth-ranked Orasi Ravenna as it allowed them to take a leadership position in A2. Orasi Ravenna defeated 9th ranked Imola at home 88-70. They outrebounded Imola 35-18 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alberto Chiumenti (204-87, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward Jerai Grant (203-89, college: Clemson) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Orasi Ravenna players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard David Bell (188-81, agency: 3Eye) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Imola at the other side dropped to the fourteenth place with 91 games lost. Imola will play next round against strong Aurira Jesi trying to get back on the winning streak. Orasi Ravenna will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Kleb Ferrara on the road.
