Regular Season Round 3: Panteras - Abejas 80-94

Rather expected game when Panteras (0-3) lost to Abejas (1-0) in Aguascalientes 80-94 on Friday. Abejas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Steven Pledger (193-90, college: Oklahoma) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Five Abejas players scored in double figures. Power forward Michael Glover (203-87, college: Iona) came up with 24 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Jaron Martin (178, college: Cal-Irvine) added 16 points and 6 assists respectively for Panteras in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Abejas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Panteras will play again against Abejas (#7) and hope to get finally their first victory.
