Super League top team - Tralee (6-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Killester (4-3) in Dublin 90-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Killester. Tralee forced 23 Killester turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Trae Pemberton (193-92, college: Maryville, MO) who scored 30 points. Guard Fergal OSullivan (186) chipped in 13 points. Pemberton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Luis Garcia-hoyos who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists and international point guard Ciaran Roe (170-93) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively. Tralee have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-1 record. Loser Killester dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Templeogue. Tralee will meet at home Eanna (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Killester will have a break next round.
