There was a minor upset when higher ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (2-3) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Cambados (2-3) 83-70. The game was mostly controlled by Cambados. Agustinos-Leclerc was better in fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. British forward Will Saunders (201-91, college: Charleston So.) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and guard Samuel Barros (190-98) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Cambados' coach Chiqui Barros allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Jose Medina (185-93) came up with 14 points and 6 assists and Slovenian forward Andraz Kavas (208-92, college: Harding, agency: Two Points) added 10 points respectively for Agustinos-Leclerc in the defeat. Cambados moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Agustinos-Leclerc. Cambados' next round opponent will be higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (#5) in Avila and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
