Regular Season Round 7: Gravelines - Antibes 79-66

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque and 13th ranked Olympique Antibes had identical 2-4 record. This time Gravelines-Dunkerque used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Antibes 79-66 on Saturday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a very good performance for American forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Taylor Smith (199-91, college: SF Austin) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach Julien Mahe used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Tyler Harvey (193-93, college: E.Washington) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Olympique Antibes. Four Olympique Antibes players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Limoges and Strasbourg. Olympique Antibes lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with five games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque will face Strasbourg IG (#13) on the road in the next round. Olympique Antibes will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket and hope to win that game.
