An interesting game for Helsingborg (6-0) which played road game in Stockholm against 4th ranked Hammarby (2-2). Top-ranked Helsingborg had an easy win 103-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hammarby. Helsingborg dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Hammarby's 40. Helsingborg forced 25 Hammarby turnovers and outrebounded them 33-17 including 25 on the defensive glass. Forward Patrik Andersson (191-94) notched 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Lithuanian center Martynas Kuksta (203-89) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by guard Michel Kouadio (186-97) did not help to save the game for Hammarby. Guard Dip Deb (185-98) added 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Helsingborg have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Hammarby keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Bankeryd and Huddinge. Helsingborg will meet at home Huddinge (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Hammarby will play against Boras II and hope to secure a win.
