A very close game took place in Pireus between Peristeri GS and Ethnikos. Top-ranked Peristeri GS (4-0) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked Ethnikos (2-2). Peristeri GS managed to escape with a 2-point win 73-71 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Even 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Estonian point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) did not help to save the game for Ethnikos. Center Kostas Macheras (205-85) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Peristeri GS have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Ethnikos dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 7 other teams.
