Finals Game 3: Paulistano - Franca 90-95

Franca topped Paulistano to secure the second straight win in the Paulista League Finals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Paulistano won third quarter 29-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vivo/Franca made 27-of-35 free shots (77.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Paulistano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for swingman Antonio Ferreira (200-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Luis-Felipe Gruber (206-85) helped adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Yago Dos-Santos (178-99) with 15 points and 9 assists and Eddy Carvalho (196-87) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
