Regular Season Round 6: Stevnsgade - Horsholm 73-96

Bottom-ranked Stevnsgade is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to third ranked Horsholm (5-2) 96-73. The game without a history. Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Matt Bonds (196, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) who scored 29 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Ty Sabin (190-94, college: Ripon, agency: Duran International) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Horsholm's coach Rafael Monclova felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Mathias Seilund (204-90, college: Fair Dickinson) who recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Mike Flowers (194-86, college: Barton, NC) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively. Horsholm moved-up to second place, which they share with Naestved. Stevnsgade at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Horsholm's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Naestved at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Stevnsgade will play against Svendborg (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
