There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Ankara D.S.I. (2-4) beat at home higher ranked Bursaspor (4-2) 80-74 on Wednesday. Strangely Bursaspor outrebounded Ankara D.S.I. 43-25 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bursaspor was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Ali Kavaklioglu (186-86) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 7 assists. American point guard Keifer Sykes (183-93, college: Green Bay) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Ankara D.S.I. players scored in double figures. Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) replied with 24 points and 4 assists and forward Mustafa-Bakir Gorur (204-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Bursaspor. Bursaspor's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ankara D.S.I. moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Bursaspor keeps the fourth position with two games lost.
