Regular Season Round 7: Istanbulspor - Yalova Bld 88-85

Bottom-ranked Yalova Bld (0-7) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to twelfth ranked Istanbulspor (3-4) 88-85 on Saturday evening. Americans were the main players on the court. Point guard Tyrone Brazelton (184-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) fired 31 points and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Tyler Smith (200-86, college: Tennessee) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Markel Starks (188-91, college: Georgetown) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists and forward Mikael Hopkins (206-93, college: Georgetown) added 25 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Istanbulspor moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Yalova Bld lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Istanbulspor will meet Orman Genclik (#16) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Yalova Bld will play against Bandirma Kir. and hopes to get finally their first victory.
