Bottom-ranked Zamorano is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to sixth ranked La Roda (4-2) 93-73 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. La Roda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. La Roda forced 19 Zamorano turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. Forward Norman Rey (203-87) notched 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and British forward Jamell Anderson (200-90) supported him with 18 points. Four La Roda players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by center Christopher Iza (206-95) did not help to save the game for Zamorano. Forward Adrian Mendez (195-93) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. La Roda moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Zamorano still closes the standings with six games lost. La Roda will meet at home league's second-placed CB Granada in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zamorano will play against Myrtia (#4) in Murcia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
