Regular Season Round 7: TED Kolejliler - Orman Genclik 70-90

There was a surprise result in Ankara where sixteenth ranked Orman Genclik (2-5) smashed higher ranked TED Kolejliler (4-3) 90-70 on Saturday. Orman Genclik shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five Orman Genclik players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Burak Erol (197-88) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. TED Kolejliler's coach let to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Orman Genclik moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Duzce Bld. and Ankara DSI. Loser TED Kolejliler dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Orman Genclik will face higher ranked Istanbulspor (#11) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
