Very expected game when 15th ranked Desio (1-6) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Vicenza (4-3) 76-64 on Sunday. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian center Diego Corral (203-86, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Argentinian guard Ariel Svoboda (193-85, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 17 points and 6 assists. Four Vicenza players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Carlo Fumagalli (188-96) responded with 19 points and naturalized Dominican guard Daniel Perez (185-97, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Vicenza moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Desio dropped to the fourteenth position with six games lost. Vicenza will face Tessilform Bernareggio (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Desio will play against Lugo and hope to win that game.
