Regular Season Round 6: Umbertide - Forli 60-50

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when twelfth ranked Umbertide (2-4) won against at home 11th ranked Forli (1-4) 60-50 on Sunday. Finnish forward Evita Iiskola (183-93, college: Providence) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and center Adriana Cutrupi (186-96) chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Lucia Missanelli (177-98) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Omotayo Olajide-Beatrice (181-98) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Umbertide moved-up to eleventh place in A2. Newly promoted Forli dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Umbertide will face higher ranked Civitanova (#9) in Civitanova Marche in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Forli will play at home against Faenza (#7) and hope to win that game.
