Everything could happen in Givataim at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Hap.R/G Givat. and 6th ranked Hasharon had identical 2-1 record. This time Hap.R/G Givat. used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Hod Hasharon 93-75 on Tuesday night. Worth to mention a great performance of American Robert Glenn (203-88, college: IUPUI) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) who added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Hap.R/G Givat. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Vernon Teel (193-87, college: Loyola Mary) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Yotam Shiran (198-90) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hap.R/G Givat. (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with Maccabi K/G. Loser Hasharon keeps the sixth position with two games lost. Hap.R/G Givat. will face Hapoel Migd.H. (#10) in Tarshicha in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hasharon will play at home against Hapoel Kfar Saba (#14) and hope to win that game.
