1st Division top team - HBA-Marsky (7-0) added another victory to their record on Thursday. This time they beat tenth ranked Forssan Koripojat (2-5) in Helsinki 85-78. HBA-Marsky looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Elias Valtonen (198-99) fired 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Miika Heinonen (191-99) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. HBA-Marsky's coach Antti Koskelainen used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Juwan Howard-Jr (200-92, college: Detroit Mercy) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and forward Aku Haikonen (201-96) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Forssan Koripojat players scored in double figures. HBA-Marsky maintains first place in Division with 7-0 record. Loser Forssan Koripojat keeps the tenth position with five games lost. HBA-Marsky will meet Jarvenpaa (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Forssan Koripojat will play against Lahti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
