Regular Season Round 9: Boulazac - Limoges 53-66

Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Limoges (5-4) beat on the road 16th ranked Boulazac (1-8) 66-53 on Saturday. Limoges dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Boulazac's 28. DR Congolese center Merveille Muninga (203-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Burundian center Timothee Bazille (202-99) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Limoges players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Melvyn Da-Silva (198-99) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Kevin Hangoue (201-97, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 5 points and 8 rebounds. Boulazac's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Limoges moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Boulazac lost their seventh game in a row.
