Regular Season Round 7: Orebro - RIG Mark 45-98

Very expected game when 8th ranked Orebro (1-5) was crushed at home by second ranked RIG Mark (5-1) 98-45 on Saturday. RIG Mark forced 20 Orebro turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 60.7 percentage. It was a great evening for guard Oskar Ekh (190-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points. Forward Oskar Palmquist (197-0) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five RIG Mark players scored in double figures. At the losing side Robert Schultz (-89) responded with 8 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Aleksa Simovic (194-98) scored 10 points. Orebro's coach Silvester Mujkic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for RIG Mark. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Orebro keeps the eighth place with five games lost. RIG Mark will face league's leader Helsingborg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Orebro will play against Bankeryd (#5) and hope to win that game.
