Regular Season Round 11: Inter Bratislava - Karlovka 94-80

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bratislava: Inter Bratislava (#1) and Karlovka (#7). Inter Bratislava (10-1) won against visiting Karlovka (3-8) 94-80. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Karlovka's 32 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Serbian point guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Michal Batka (204-87) helped adding 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward David Abraham (190-96) responded with 21 points and the former international Roman Vido (204-88) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Inter Bratislava and four Karlovka players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-1 record. Karlovka lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Zilina. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face Iskra Svit (#4) at home in the next round. Karlovka will play against Kosice (#3) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
