Regular Season Round 14: Fukuoka Rizing - Kagawa FA 85-71

B League D2 top team - Fukuoka Rizing (12-2) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Kagawa FA (5-9) 85-71. It was a great shooting night for Fukuoka Rizing especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. International center Pape Faye (200-87) contributed with 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Takada Shuichi (194-83) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Fukuoka Rizing maintains first position with 12-2 record. Loser Kagawa FA dropped to the fourth place with nine games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will face again Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round.
