Regular Season Round 12: Chanson V-M - Niigata R. 89-63

Bottom-ranked Niigata R. (0-12) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 89-63 loss to fifth ranked Chanson V-M (9-3) in Shizuoka on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-63. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Denso Iris. Loser Niigata R. still closes the standings with 12 games lost. They share the position with Yamanashi QB. Chanson V-M will meet Haneda Vickies (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Niigata R. will play against Yamanashi QB and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
