Al Arabi defeated Al Sadd in Doha 75-63. Al Arabi dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Al Sadd's 30. Al Arabi had a 36-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Nick Stover (198-93, college: S.Alabama) contributed with 25 points for the winners. American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Dee Oldham (193-94, college: Chattanooga) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Al Sadd. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Sadd will play next round against Al Khor trying to get back on the winning streak.
