Regular Season Round 13: Suduva-Mantinga - Ezerunas 99-95

There was no surprise in Marijampole where 9th ranked Ezerunas (5-8) was defeated by second ranked Suduva-Mantinga (11-2) 99-95. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Suduva-Mantinga forced 19 Ezerunas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Ezerunas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Zygimantas Simonis (192-95) nailed 22 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Antanas Udras (203-92, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Karolis Lukosiunas (196-97) came up with 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Arnas Adomavicius (185-0) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Ezerunas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Suduva-Mantinga. They maintain second place with 11-2 record behind leader Vytis. Ezerunas lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Suduva-Mantinga's next round opponent will be again Ezerunas (#10) in Moletai and are hoping to win another game.
