Regular Season Round 11: Correcaminos - Fuerza Regia 91-90

The most exciting game of round 11 in the LNBP took place in Ciudad Victoria. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Fuerza Regia (8-4) to fourth ranked Correcaminos (6-4) 91-90 on Friday evening. Correcaminos made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Kennedy Jones (188-89, college: Arlington Baptist) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. International guard Cezar Guerrero (185-92, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 19 points. American forward Andy Panko (203-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Correcaminos maintains fourth place with 6-4 record. Fuerza Regia at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Correcaminos are again looking forward to face league's second-placed Fuerza Regia in Monterrey in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fuerza Regia will have a break next round.
