Very significant was Abdullah Gul's (#5) just 2-point road victory against 6th ranked Botas 56-54. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Botas. Australian center Marianna Tolo (196-89, agency: ProDep Management) notched 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international point guard Nilay Kartaltepe (172-79, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) supported her with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 8 points and 13 rebounds by American center Kiah Stokes (190-93, college: Connecticut) did not help to save the game for Botas. Her fellow American import guard Chelsea Gray (180-92, college: Duke) added 16 points. Abdullah Gul (4-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Mersin BSB. Botas at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Galatasaray and Cukurova. Abdullah Gul will play against Cukurova (#8) in Mersin in the next round.
