Regular Season Round 8: Germani BR - Betaland Cdo 87-53

Serie A top team - Germani BR (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Betaland Cdo (3-5) in Brescia 87-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Betaland Cdo. Germani BR dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Betaland Cdo's 26. It was a very good performance for American guard Lee Moore (193-95, college: UTEP) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Germani BR players scored in double figures. Germani BR's coach Andrea Diana felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lithuanian Arnoldas Kulboka (207-98) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (213-90) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Betaland Cdo. Germani BR have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. Loser Betaland Cdo dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Germani BR will face Virtus Bologna (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Betaland Cdo will play against Banco di Srd in Sassari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
