No shocking result in a game in Helsinki where fourth ranked MuKi (7-1) smashed 11th ranked PuHu Juniorit (1-7) 110-47 on Sunday. The game without a history. MuKi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to PuHu Juniorit's 24. MuKi forced 24 PuHu Juniorit turnovers and outrebounded them 62-26 including a 23-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by PuHu Juniorit's players. The best player for the winners was center Eetu Lahdetniemi (205-0) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. American swingman Calvin Ward-III (188, college: Missouri Valley) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. MuKi's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Samatar Abokar produced 11 points and Guled Abokar added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. MuKi moved-up to third place in Division. Loser PuHu Juniorit dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. MuKi will face Karkkila (#4) on the road in the next round. PuHu Juniorit will play against JyWe (#6) and hope to win that game.
