BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (9-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Brose Baskets (5-4) 77-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Brose Baskets. Bayern Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Brose Baskets' 28. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Devin Booker (205-91, college: Clemson) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jared Cunningham (193-91, college: Oregon St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Dorell Wright (206-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Bryce Taylor (194-86, agency: BeoBasket) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Defending champion Brose Baskets dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. Bayern Muenchen are looking forward to face Science City Jena (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brose Baskets will play against Telekom Baskets (#5) and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
