Regular Season Round 10: Bayer Giants - Fraport SKY II 74-83

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Bayer Giants (5-5) lost to eighth ranked Fraport Skyliners II (5-5) in Leverkusen 74-83 on Sunday. Fraport Skyliners II forced 19 Bayer Giants turnovers. Quite impressive performance for swingman Isaac Bonga (204-99) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Garai Zeeb (187-97) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Marvin Heckel (190-97) replied with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American forward Donovon Jack (206-93, college: Penn St.) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bayer Giants. Four Bayer Giants players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Fraport Skyliners II moved-up to sixth place in South, which they share with Dresden and Bayer Giants. Fraport Skyliners II will face Wuerzburg (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
