An interesting game was also surprising home defeat of 4th ranked Telge in a game versus Visby Ladies (#7) 77-67. Visby Ladies dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Telge's 20. They outrebounded Telge 48-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by Canadian forward Rashida Timbilla (186-92, college: Massachusetts) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 24 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Brandy Montgomery (178-95, college: Auburn) supported her with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds by American guard Taylor Wurtz (183-90, college: Wisconsin) did not help to save the game for Telge. Forward Tilde Ahlin (185-90, college: Anderson, SC) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Visby Ladies (3-4) moved-up to sixth place. Telge lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Visby Ladies will meet at home Mark (#7) in the next round. Telge will play against Norrkoping Dolphins and hope to secure a win.
