A2 top team - Peristeri GS (7-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Karditsas (1-6) in Athens 81-68. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. Peristeri GS outrebounded Karditsas 34-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by Karditsas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Vassilis Symtsak (205-81) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American-Bulgarian point guard Keydren Clark (180-84, college: St.Peter's) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Peristeri GS have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Newly promoted Peristeri GS maintains first place with 7-0 record. Karditsas lost third consecutive game. Karditsas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with six games lost. They share it with Doukas and Arkadikos.
