The game in Guanajuato supposed to be also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Correcaminos (7-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Abejas (4-8). Correcaminos smashed Abejas 106-82. Correcaminos shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Brandon Davis (198-88, college: Lamar, agency: Pro Sports) notched 28 points to lead the effort and guard Kennedy Jones (188-89, college: Arlington Baptist) supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Correcaminos' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for Abejas. Forward Terrance King (198-90, college: E.Stroudsburg) added 22 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Five Correcaminos and four Abejas players scored in double figures. Correcaminos moved-up to fifth place. Abejas at the other side dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Libertadores and Panteras. Correcaminos will play against bottom-ranked Panteras (#11) in Aguascalientes in the next round where they are favorite. Abejas will play on the road against Libertadores in Queretaro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
