Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Cambados. Forward Eloy Almazan (199-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) contributed with 11 points for the winners. CB Granada's coach Pablo Pin allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. British forward Will Saunders (201-91, college: Charleston So.) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and forward Pablo Villarejo (194-92) added 14 points in the effort for Cambados. The victory was the third consecutive win for CB Granada. They maintain first place with 8-3 record, which they share with Albacete and L'Hospitalet. Cambados at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Moron. CB Granada will play against Agustinos-Leclerc (#5) in Leon in the next round. Cambados will play on the road against Moron (#10) in Morón de la Frontera and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
