Regular Season Round 10: Boulazac - Strasbourg U21 74-77

Seventeenth-ranked Boulazac (1-9) made lots of trouble for second ranked Strasbourg U21 (9-1) on Saturday. The visitors from Strasbourg managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected much easier game. Strasbourg U21 forced 21 Boulazac turnovers. Strangely Boulazac outrebounded Strasbourg U21 40-0 including a 14- advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Marc Kwedi (200-97) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Center Quentin Goulmy (206-98) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Strasbourg U21 players scored in double figures. Aygalenq Alexandre (187-97) produced 32 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Dylan Affo (196-99) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Boulazac's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Strasbourg U21 have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Cholet. Boulazac lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with nine games lost. Strasbourg U21 are looking forward to face league's leader Cholet at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boulazac will play against Bourg (#6) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
