Regular Season Round 15: Tsmoki-Minsk - Vitebsk 76-59

An interesting game for Tsmoki-Minsk (14-0) which hosted in Minsk 4th placed Vitebsk (6-8). Leader Tsmoki-Minsk had an easy win 76-59. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 48-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tsmoki-Minsk outrebounded Vitebsk 44-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Roman Rubinshteyn (195-96, agency: Alti Sport) who led the winners and scored 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. International forward Yauheni Beliankou (197-95) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) came up with 10 points and 5 rebounds and forward Egor Gil (195-96) added 10 points respectively for Vitebsk in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourteenth consecutive win for Tsmoki-Minsk. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Grodno-93. Loser Vitebsk keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Tsmoki II and Impuls BGUIR. Tsmoki-Minsk will meet league's leader Grodno-93 on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vitebsk will play against Brest and hope to secure a win.
