Regular Season Round 13: Tromso - Nidaros Jets 73-90

The biggest surprise of round 13 in BLNO was guest Nidaros Jets' (7-8) easy road victory over 6th ranked Tromso (6-9) 90-73 on Sunday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Nidaros Jets. Tromso managed to win second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nidaros Jets shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Australian guard Joel Spear (192-94, college: S.Oregon) fired 31 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American center Evan Harris (206-86, college: Harvard) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Shawntez Patterson (201-90, college: Alabama St.) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and Aron Finstad (188-98) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Nidaros Jets moved-up to fifth place. Tromso at the other side dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Ammerud Bskt and Baerum Basket. Nidaros Jets are looking forward to face Fyllingen BBK (#6) at home in the next round. Tromso will have a break next round.
