Regular Season Round 10: Kapfenberg - UBSC Graz 100-67

Bottom-ranked UBSC Graz is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (7-2) 100-67. Kapfenberg Bulls forced 20 UBSC Graz turnovers and outrebounded them 44-23 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kapfenberg Bulls players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by UBSC Graz's players. American swingman Brian Oliver (201-90, college: Seton Hall) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international center Jozo Rados (208-93) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side international Anton Maresch (191-91) responded with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and French forward Matt Gamberoni (208-91, college: Trevecca Naz., agency: Diamond Sports) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Arkadia. UBSC Graz at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Kapfenberg Bulls will play against Furstenfeld Panthers (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. UBSC Graz will play against Gunners Oberwart and hopes to get finally their first victory.
